Our Products
We offer some of the best-known yarns available. Nestucca Bay Yarn's wide selection includes the refined, upscale selection of Rowan knitting yarn and the more bohemian, down-to-earth, rustic fibers of Malabrigo yarn. Rowan knitting yarn is favored for its quality. Based in England, Rowan offers many choices in yarns including wools, silks and cottons. Malabrigo yarn is hand-dyed and produced by a small family-owned company in Uruguay. Both offer beautiful choices for your yarn project.
Other yarns available in our store include: sustainably grown yarn from Imperial Stock Ranch in Oregon, Austermann Sock yarns, Jamieson's Shetland Yarns and our own hand-dyed Nestucca Bay Yarns.
We are more than a yarn supplier. In addition to yarns, we offer a wide selection of patterns, supplies and equipment, books, magazines and kits.
Our History
Out of a love for fiber arts, including spinning and knitting, Cheryl -- with help from her husband -- decided to open Nestucca Bay Yarns in 2005 on the Nestucca River in Pacific City Oregon. Pacific City is on the North Oregon Coast right next to the Nestucca Bay and not far from the beautiful Nestucca Bay Estuary on HWY 101.
She quickly out grew this tiny location there on the river and moved to a little larger location just down the street. We have now been located in a historic house in Lincoln City for 2 1/2 years and love our new location. We currently have 1200 sq. ft. and are still out growing our space.

When Dan and Cheryl opened Nestucca Bay in Pacific City we also set up an online store, we have now upgraded our online store to this beautiful integrated site where you can get real time inventory updates.
