We have Debbie Bliss's Eco Cotton Yarn which is all organic including being organically dyed and machine washable, this yarn is interchangeable with Debbie's Baby Cashmerino. We also have Rowan Pure-life Revive Yarn which is 36% recycled silk 36% recycled cotton and 28% recycled viscose. We love earth friendly yarns and Rowan has done a lot to promote sustainable growing and production practices in the yarn and knitting community.
Knitting and selling yarn is truly a labor of love for me, I learned to spin and knit about 17 years ago with my daughter and really appreciate natural fibers and quality yarns. I love the way knitting brings women together as it has throughout history. Knitting gives me a connection with the women who lived and knitted before, discovering such techniques as Stranded, Aran, Lace and Fisherman knits and passing them on to future generations. In today's world we are now realizing the value of hand knitting, appreciating the love that goes into each knitting stitch. With quality yarn, a hand knitted item can be passed to each generation bringing with it the story of the person who lovingly knit it.
